Welcome to Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund
The government seeks to provide appropriate housing units for middle and low-income citizens that suitable for their financial capabilities, in a way that guarantees their humanity, dignity, and a safe-decent life. Therefore, the government issued a law establishing the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund according to Presidential Decree No. 93 of 2018 for social housing affairs and mortgage finance subsidization, and it is considered as a public service authority, having a legal personality.

In implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic to launch the initiative “Housing For All Egyptians” to build Social housing units within the package of economic measures taken by the state. Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund succeeded in Launch 16 calls for low -income citizens, while 3 calls to middle -income citizens with projects (Sakan, Dar Misr, Ganna) in cooperation with the Urban Communities Authority, in addition to Launch two calls for middle -income citizens, as well as signing 31 cooperation protocols with a number of various institutions, entities and unions to provide social housing units for them.
